Located 37 kilometers away from Canakkale city center, the history of the ancient city of Troy goes back 5 thousand years ago.

Being one of the most important touristic places of Çanakkale, Aynalı Bazaar is located in the city center, near Çarşı Street.

In the archeological museum that is located on Atatürk Street in Çanakkale city center, there are 12.747 pieces of artifacts, 15.237 coins and 2.714 ethnographic work of art.

The building, which was built as Turkish bath in 1905 in the city center of Çanakkale, has been restored by the Municipality of Çanakkale in 2013 as “Ceramics Museum”. Ceramics Museum is located in Cevatpaşa district on Kaya Street and important ceramics artworks are exhibited in the museum. It can be noted that the old structure of the building has been reserved during the restoration and in the new museum building, ceramics related national and international symposiums, workshops and exhibitions are organized.

Çanakkale Naval Museum is located in the city center, next to the entrance of Çimenlik Castle.

Çimenlik Castle is located at the point where Dardanelles’s width is the narrowest, on Anatolian side, at the point where Sarıçay river meets with sea.

After being used in the movie "Troy", famous Troy Horse Statue has been given to Turkey after the official request by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. It is exhibited in Çanakkale city center since 13th of September, 2004.
