Windmills that are in the same region with Polente Lighthouse in Bozcaada district of Çanakkale have become the symbol of the island.

People especially come to this area in summer months to watch the sunset and they simply enjoy the view.

Windmills that are located on western headland of the island have been producing electricity since 2000. In the same region, Polente Lighthouse, that was built in 1861 and that has a height of 32 meters, has been serving to ships for years.
